Pre-painted ZAM
ZAM is a type of highly corrosion-resistant zinc- aluminium- magnesium coated steel. It has a longer life-span in the harshest of environments and provides cost-savings to the consumers in terms of maintenance free usage.
It has exceptional alkaline resistance- even with direct contact with concrete and mortar, and is an ideal substitute for stainless steel and aluminium.
In terms of corrosion resistance ZAM is 10-30 times better than Galvanized steel and 5-8 times better than Galvalume steel based on salt spray testing. Suitable applications for the following:
